Living Memory: A Collective of House of David Stories
The Living Memory Project aims to gather the public’s memories and opinions of the House of David to help the Archives & Collections better preserve and educate on its history. The project was launched in 2026 to actively seek individuals with recollections of the House of David. This collective will be used to inform future exhibits and research.
People who have...
talked directly to a House of David member?
heard any family stories regarding the House of David?
visited Eden Springs Park before 1975?
worked for the House of David business?
studied any aspect of the House of David?
interacted with the City of David?
Individuals have three opportunities to be involved with the Living Memory Project: submitting written histories, requesting an oral history, or attending events. Details on how to participate in the project are listed below.
This form is designed to collect brief memories that individuals want to share with the Israelite House of David Archives & Collections' Living Memory Project in written form only.
This form is meant to formally request an oral history with the Israelite House of David Archives & Collections' Head Archivist and Historian, Brian Carroll. The Archives & Collections' Oral History initiative is meant to preserve the lived experiences of individuals who have had interactions or have recollections of the House of David or the City of David.
There will be a limited number of events held throughout the county where individuals can share information, interactions, and recollections of the House of David in an audio-recorded group setting.
